Welcome To The New Year
Hello, fellow lovers of food and gathering!
I pray this new year is finding you happy in your lives and kitchens, with plenty of connection time to gather with your loved ones. Thank you for taking a month off with me to revel in the holiday glory!
Over here in Montana we have been enjoying the silent beauty of the snow and cozy fireside sitting with good books, tea, and comfort foods.
Yet under the surface, ideas and excitement are stirring, ready to begin and in fact, are already forming~and I have news for you, dear readers! The newsletter that I share with you each month is changing, a fresh start! To make these delicious, easy-to-accomplish and accessible recipes more readily available to you, we've decided to connect you to content and community in a more social way - that format is still being formed. This change will make connecting with others, sending questions or comments, and things like recipe requests so much simpler. It will also allow for a more streamlined option for cataloging tips and foods you love or haven't had the chance to try quite yet. I am looking forward to these fresh beginnings with you, I will be sending a follow up email with a link, and ways to stay connected.
When you receive them, please consider taking a moment to share it and invite friends and family to join our community of hospitality, cooking, and old-fashioned connection time.
During these changes I'll be looking for a new name that is more all-encompassing for our Common Table and other adventures. Please send your ideas and suggestions! Common Table Collective was one suggestion that I like. My heart is to share my God given gifts with you - which are a love of all things food, and all things connecting with people through prepping, cooking, feeding and eating 😀 Food is my love language.
I always love to hear from you! Have a recipe you'd like to see on video? A suggestion for a menu for having friends for dinner Something that is easy, delicious and to keeps your attention on the most important part of the gathering? Which is connection, loving friendship and so much more!
At times I have felt like a recipe hot line 😀, the new format will have more sharing for all of us in the community.
We're hosting a ✨"Sparkle Party"✨ this weekend. This is a Dinner for 30, to celebrate how our friend’s brightness and joy illuminates our community through volunteering! How do you Sparkle? And you may be wondering, what the heck is a Sparkle Party? Keep watching for an update on how it goes, and for all the undoubtedly fabulous photos that will develop because of it!
For tonight, my hope is that you gather around the table together, in love, friendship, and peace.
Cheers to a Fresh New Year! Love,
Linda
